Light & Revelation
Wisdom · Divine Light
The light shines in the darkness.
— John
Light and revelation are twin concepts. To reveal is to illuminate. The veil is what separates—and what is lifted when understanding comes.
I. The Veil
What separates
The veil conceals. Between the sacred and the profane, between knowing and not knowing, the veil hangs.
Revelation is the lifting of the veil. Not destruction—unveiling. What was hidden becomes accessible.

II. Unveiling
Apocalypse means
Apocalypse—apokalypsis—means unveiling. To uncover. Revelation is not catastrophe but disclosure.
When the veil lifts, we see. The moment of revelation is the moment of clarity.

III. Divine Light
Illumination from above
Divine light is not physical light—it is the light by which we understand. Enlightenment. Illumination.
Traditions speak of light that transcends the visible. The light that makes all else visible.

IV. Darkness
Where light has not yet come
Darkness is not evil—it is absence of light. The condition before revelation. The unilluminated.
Light and darkness define each other. Revelation gains its meaning from what preceded it.

V. Clarity
When we see
Clarity is the fruit of revelation. Confusion lifts. The murky becomes clear.
Epiphanies are moments of clarity. The light turns on. We understand.

VI. Presence
Light as presence
Light implies presence. Where light is, something is revealed. Divine light implies divine presence.
Revelation is presence making itself known. Light is the medium.

VIII. Light & Revelation Remains
Light & Revelation continues to inform and inspire. Phyllux traces these convergences—one light, many expressions.
